The Team and role

The Amey team deliver and maintain critical defence infrastructure across the UK. We maintain 25,000 military homes across the north and central regions, and ensure our military have the plant and equipment, they need to carry out their vital roles. We also provide essential soft services within MOD Whitehall - Main Building, including the provision of helpdesk and IT services.

We make sure our service personnel and their families have the homes and facilities to carry out their vital work and are working hard to create better links with the forces communities we operate in.

The role is varied and will allow the opportunity to work alongside the Billable Works managers ensuring all matters relating to Construction, Supplier management, quality, health & safety are achieved.

You will gain opportunities to work in a progressive environment that is always looking for new and fresh ideas that will benefit large scale housing stock, whilst making improvements for service families.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing support to Billable Works Manager that help them perform their duties quickly and safely..
  • Attending Internal & client meetings & preparing monthly  project progress reports.
  • Assisting in the project management & delivery following technical specifications
  • Carry out weekly & monthly site environmental, ecology, Health & Safety inspections of our contractors.

We want to hear from you if you have:

  • Minimum 2:2 Degree in Construction Discipline or Project Management.
  • A driving licence is essential.
  • Available to join the programme in September 2024
  • Excellent communication skills – Written and oral
  • High level of motivation and initiative; self-starter
